Ephesians – Spring 2012

ephesians

As we move into May we begin a new series on Sunday mornings looking at the book of Ephesians. I believe this book has a huge amount to say to us as a church at this particular time. I hope the series will help us in our vision to know God within and to reach out to others with God’s love for them. As we start
this series we will also be launching our vision document, and new initiatives that flow from our vision.

All of these sermons are available on our audio page.

Moving On Together – January 2012

moving on together

Our sermon series to start the new year is entitled Moving On Together. It is based around the book of Exodus.

All of these sermons are available on our audio page.

The gift

the gift

Our sermon series during the season of Advent is entitled The Gift.

Introducing the series …

As we head towards Christmas our thoughts often turn towards  presents; presents to buy and give, and presents we may receive.

But the greatest gift the world has ever known has already been given, and yet so many neglect or never unwrap and receive this incredible gift.

This Christmas our theme, ‘The Gift’, takes us through some of the Old Testament predictions of this Gift, through the unfolding of Jesus’ arrival, and then marvels again at those familiar Christmas scenes. But whether we have heard the story numerous times, or just a few, may this Christmas be a time of renewed wonder and worship as we seek to unwrap and receive The Gift above all gifts.

All of these sermons are available on our audio page.

A living hope – 1 Peter

1 peter

Our sermon series for the Autumn is on the book of 1 Peter.

Introducing the Series on 1 Peter…

The book of 1 Peter is a challenge to us as the local church to stand up and live as Christians in this world in which we live.  But not only to stand up, but also to stand out as different because of Christ in us.

When people look at the Body of Christ together and then dispersed as we each live our lives day by day—what do people see? 1 Peter challenges us to look deeply into our lives and see if we are growing more like Christ—even in those difficult places where it’s  tough to be a Christian.

All of these sermons are available on our audio page.
