Youth work

There are many activities for young people that take place at Bourne Baptist Church.

Weekly activities for young people (term time only):
Young Youth (KS3 ages 11-14…Y7 – Y9) Mondays 6.30pm – 7.45pm, Church Back Hall
Senior Youth (KS4 ages 14-18…Y10+) Tuesdays 7.30pm – 9pm, The snug at the rear of the church

We also have regular socials where we blur the lines between the two groups
(Usually once a half term on a different evening to usual meetings, to allow those with other commitments to be an active part of the Youth Group) Some of those held this year have been: Summer BBQ to launch new term, Firework & Food Social, After Nativity Rehearsal Christmas Social, February Social and Easter Mexican Social.

We have regular Costa Coffee Drop-ins straight from school on the last Friday of the month during term time.

We support our Young People in their faith journey by arranging enrichment events linking in with other youth groups throughout the year. Some held this year include ‘REBOOT’ Conference in London; Youth Service at St Georges Church, Stamford; Hillsong Youth UK Revival in Peterborough and Soul Survivor Training events, Watford.

We take an active part in family services each week and on occasion we have been asked to lead a service or two including Father’s Day, The Nativity Service & Valentine’s day.
We take the youth on annual and bi-annual Christian discipleship The ONE EVENT over the August bank holiday and Letton Hall February & October half terms.
