ABOUT OUR WORK
Welcome from our Teaching Pastor
Hello! I’m Paul, the Teaching Pastor here at Bourne Baptist Church. After spending a decade teaching in Argentinian seminaries and another ten years at a college in the UK, I joined the Church family in 2018.
My role is focused on helping us engage deeply with Scripture. I preach, lead intensive teaching sessions, and write notes for our Life Groups that align with our sermon series. Beyond teaching, I am passionate about mentoring the next generation of preachers and volunteering with our vibrant Thursday evening youth group, a true highlight of my week.
While I love diving into the Word, my ultimate goal is helping us live out our faith more effectively and coherently. I truly enjoy interacting with everyone on Sundays. When I’m not at church, you’ll likely find me with my wife, Wilma, walking our dog, Meg, or cheering on the Red Roses (the England Women’s rugby team).
